Sunday Schedule:

10:30am to 1:30pm - Mixed Doubles.

1:30pm to 3:00pm - Skills and Thrills Competition

3:00pm until finish - Completion of Men’s and Women’s Doubles.

Skills-N-Thrills Pickleball Tournament is a fundraiser for The Living Vine:

The Living Vine Maternity Home is the only licensed maternity home in Georgia, providing pregnant women in crisis with safe housing, counseling, education, and life-skills training at no cost. Located in Savannah, the program serves women of all child-bearing ages and supports them through pregnancy and up to two years postpartum. Since 1996, The Vine has helped over 450 mothers and their babies break cycles of poverty and instability through a structured, trauma-informed model rooted in protection, provision, and preparation. The organization’s work directly supports core community needs in shelter, food, clothing, education, and safety.

Rain Policy:

There are three options within the UPE Rain Policy:

1) Full Refund

2) Player can choose to keep entry and play during the tournament make-up date (September 13th-14th)

3) Player can forward their entry fee into a future tournament. Player will have a free entry into a future UPE tournament.

Tournament Schedule:

Saturday (Start time is 10:00am, and individual event start times will be posted by Thursday Afternoon)

All Men's Doubles: 10am

All Women's Doubles: 10am

Skill Challenges (approx: 1-3pm)

Sunday (Start time is 10:30am, and individual event start times will be posted by Thursday Afternoon)

Mixed Doubles 50 and Over: 10:30am

Mixed Doubles: 10:30am

Skill and Thrills Challenges: approx. 1:30-3pm

Completion of Men’s and Women’s Doubles: 3pm until finish

Divisions:

Men's/Women's/Mixed Doubles: 2.5 / 3.0 / 3.5 / 4.0+

---> As well as ages 50 and over divisions per skill level

------->If a 50 and Over division does not have enough people, it will be merged with the corresponding skill bracket

Skill Challenges*

*These Skill Challenges are going to be epic! Take your best shot at the Skill Challenge Circuit:

Speed Serve:

Players get six attempts to get the fastest serve they can.

Picklebowl:

Players get four balls to knock down pins. They fire pickleballs from the opposite side of the kitchen line.

Nasty Nelson:

Mannequin is set up at the kitchen line opposite the server. Players get six chances to strike Nelson. Number of hits is marked on their card. 

Double Dink:

Dink with a partner or the station volunteer to get the longest continuous rally. Each player get four attempts.

Splash Drops:

Player is fed nine balls. They must drop them into the kiddie pool in the kitchen. Number is marked on their card.

Target Range:

Player is fed 15 balls. They need to hit the targets to score points.

Entry Fee:

$75 for one event

$100 for two or more events

How to Sign Up:

If you are only playing one event, then select the "One Event" ticket that is $75. You will be able to select which event you are playing during checkout.

If you are playing two or more events, select the "Two or More Events" ticket that is $100. You will be able to select your events during checkout.

Other:

Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in all divisions.

Skill Challenges will take place on both Saturday and Sunday.
