Play has begun at L. Scott Stell Park. We are on time for the 2:30pm matches for the following divisions:

• Beginner Women’s Doubles

• Beginner Men’s Doubles

• Intermediate Men’s Doubles

• Advanced Women’s Doubles

• Advanced Men’s Doubles

WEATHER UPDATE 9:35am Sunday (Address Change):

With the status of the Lake Mayer courts, and the incoming rain, are moving today's events to the L. Scott Stell Park covered pickleball courts. All divisions will begin 1 hour after their scheduled start time (11am -> 12pm / 1:30pm -> 2:30pm).

Rain Policy:

We are well prepared if there is rain throughout the weekend. We have blowers and squeegees available to help dry the courts. In addition to this, we have access to the L. Scott Stell Park covered courts, should we need them. The address for the covered courts is below. All rain updates will be right here, and we will be updating it constantly. Please check here before reaching out with questions.

Saturday August 29th:

8:30-11:00am - Fun, Games, and Open Play

---> All free to the public

11:00am-1:30pm - 55+ Mixed Doubles / Advanced and Open Mixed Doubles (3.5+)

1:30pm-4:00pm - Beginner Mixed Doubles (<3.0) / Intermediate Mixed Doubles (3.0-3.5)

4:00pm-Close - Adult + Child Doubles

Sunday August 30th:

11:00am-1:30pm - 55+ Women's and Men's Doubles

1:30pm-Close - Beginner Women's and Men's Doubles (<3.0) / Intermediate Women's and Men's Doubles (3.0-3.5) / Advanced Women's and Men's Doubles (3.5+)

Savannah Pickleball Festival

Players, families, and fans come together for a full weekend of games, community fun, and festival energy. Whether you are a seasoned player, picking up a paddle for the first time, bringing the kids, or cheering from the sidelines, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Come celebrate one of America's fastest-growing sports with games, activities, tournaments, music, and fun for all ages.

Tournament Information

• Medals will be awarded to the Top 3 finishers in all divisions.

• 5 match guarantee (most divisions will have more than 5 matches)

• Rain Policy: In the event of rain, the tournament will be played at the L. Scott Stell covered pickleball courts on the same dates (August 29th and 30th).

• Entry Fees: $60 for one entry, $90 for two entries, $120 for three entries

  • $60 for the first entry, and each additional entry is $30.

• You will select your divisions during checkout.

• If you want to sign up, but do not have a partner, you can still sign up for the event. During checkout, you will be asked to name your partners. Just type "NEED" and the division in which you need them in.

• Please note, divisions can be combined if there are not enough entries to fill a division. We will make our best efforts to have all divisions as close in rating as possible.

• Matches will not be reported to DUPR

Challenge Circuit

Test your skills all weekend across a circuit of pickleball challenges (see below). Tournament players get one free circuit entry for each event they are registered for. Everyone can purchase a circuit entry for $5, and prizes will be awarded to the three highest scorers.

• Tournament players receive one free entry for each event they are registered for

• Additional circuit entries are $5

• Prizes go to the top three scorers

Speed Serve:

Players get six attempts to get the fastest serve they can.

Picklebowl:

Players get four balls to knock down pins. They fire pickleballs from the opposite side of the kitchen line.

Nasty Nelson:

Mannequin is set up at the kitchen line opposite the server. Players get six chances to strike Nelson. Number of hits is marked on their card.
