Details:

This event will take place at Lost Forest Tennis Club in Houston, TX on May 24-May 27. There are six divisions in this event: Men’s Doubles Advanced, Men’s Doubles Open, Women’s Doubles Advanced, Women’s Doubles Open, Mixed Doubles Advanced, and Mixed Doubles Open.

Prize Pool:

The total prize pool for this tournament is $750.*

This will be split up to $250 per division as follows:

1st: $130

2nd: $75

3rd: $45

*If less than 7 teams per division the prize pool will be 35% of the entry fee pool and will be allocated as follows:

1st: 20% of the entry fee pool

2nd: 10% of the enrty fee pool

3rd: 5% of the entry fee pool

Format:

PRIZE MONEY Advanced Divisions: This event will use a pool play format that breaks into bracket play based on pool play seeding. The exact format will vary depending on draw size. This is a four match guarantee. All pool play matches are played as Best of 1 set to 11 points. All bracket play matches are played as Best of 1 set to 15 points. It is "win by two points "no matter what. There will be a 3rd/4th playoff for prize money purposes.

Open Divisions: This event will use a double elimination format with a three match guarantee. All Open division matches are played Best of 1 set to 15 points, "win by two points" no matter what.

Additional Notes:

-Both players need to report the score together to the tournament desk after the match in order to ensure accurate results.

-Follow the tournament on the link in the homepage of the website, as well as in your email. It is a Google Sheet with match times and the draws, so be sure to follow it.

-Matches can be played indoors or outdoors depending on weather and court space. 

-Rain/Inclement Weather Policy: If your division has begun play, and the event is cancelled, there are no refunds. However, if your division has not begun play, and the event is cancelled, then you will receive a rain-check voucher code by email to use in your next tournament.
