Details:

This event will take place at Glennville Recreation Department in Glenville, GA on July 27 - July 28. There are eight divisions in this event: Men’s Doubles Intermediate, Men’s Doubles Open ($), Women’s Doubles Intermediate, Women’s Doubles Open ($), Mixed Doubles Intermediate, Mixed Doubles Open ($), Coed Junior Doubles Open, and Singles ($).

($) indicates a prize money event.

Prize Pool:

The total prize pool for this tournament is $1,500.*

*For all Open (Prize Money) Divisions:

$310 pool --> 1st Place: $160, 2nd Place: $100, 3rd Place: $50.

- If there are six or less teams per division (eight or less players for singles), the prize pool will be 60% of the entry fees: 1st Place: 35%, 2nd Place: 18%, 3rd Place: 7%.

*For all Intermediate Divisions:

- 1st Place: $60, 2nd Place: $30, 3rd Place: $10

*For Coed Juniors Doubles

- 1st Place: 2- $25 VISA gift cards 

Format:

There are two types of divisions in this tournament: Open and Intermediate. Open divisions are for cash prize money. The suggested skill level for the Open Division is 3.5 and above, however anyone is welcome to play and compete for the prize money. The Intermediate Division is for players who play pickleball for fun, and there will be gift cards for given for the Gold, Silver, and Bronze Finalists.

Exact tournament format is subject to change based on the amount of teams signed up, however:

• Open Division has a 4-match guarantee

• Intermediate Division has a 3-match guarantee

Additional Notes:

-Both players need to report the score together to the tournament desk after the match in order to ensure accurate results.

-Follow the tournament on the link in the homepage of the website, as well as in your email. It is a Google Sheet with match times and the draws, so be sure to follow it.

-Matches will be played Outdoors on permanent pickleball courts

Rain/Inclement Weather Policy: 

-If tournament gets cancelled due to rain, the make-up dates are August 3rd and 4th

-If your division has begun play, and the event is cancelled, there are no refunds. However, if your division has not begun play, and the event is cancelled, then you will receive a rain-check voucher code by email to use in your next tournament.
